Throughout history, societies have entered periods that later generations struggle to understand.
Looking back, people often ask:
How could this happen?
What did they miss that seems so obvious to us now?
But history is rarely experienced with the clarity of hindsight. The people living through these moments often believed they were solving problems, protecting stability, or adapting to a changing world.
History Rhymes explores historical events not only to understand what happened, but how it happened.
What pressures were building?
What signals appeared before the outcome became obvious?
What choices seemed reasonable at the time?
And are there patterns that may help us better understand the world around us today?
The goal is not to claim that history repeats itself exactly.
It does not. Nor is it to provide simple answers or direct comparisons.
Instead, History Rhymes examines how societies behave under pressure, and whether similar dynamics can emerge across different periods, technologies, and institutions.
Because while history may not repeat itself, societies facing similar pressures can sometimes move in remarkably similar ways.
